How do they do it?

Artwork in any form, is something I have always been in awe of. The things some people can do with their hands is amazing enough, but to imagine how they envision it is another thing all together. To hold a vision of an image and recreate that image in the form of 2D or 3D artwork just blows me away. I seem to be lacking this talent though and this is why my main medium is Digital Art.

My Tools.

I have played with a lot of computer programs over the years and found that The Gimp does everything I need to do and more. In fact after years of playing with the program, I have only begun to scratch the surface of it's versatility. Best of all it runs on my favorite operating system, Puppy Linux.

Latest Art

The cover for my new album, Medicine Walk.My latest Creations are the artworks for the New Album. I struggled with using some Public Domain for the base until I spent some time in my older photo albums and found a photo I had taken of myself while on a Medicine Walk. With only a few effects and some simple shadowed text I had pretty much what I needed. I liked it so well I used some of it here on the website too.

Main Works.

Most of the artwork I create is for friends and consists of manipulated stock images or photos I have taken with text attributes and multiple layers. I do have fun playing though. I have a growing gallery at deviantart.com

Guess what?

I also have an account at Photobucket and I am willing to guess that by now you can find it without a link. If you really need one then let me know and I can point you in the right direction.
